LINE sticker crop & batch resize guide
Trim excess transparent borders, keep your artwork in proportion, and prepare LINE-ready static PNG stickers in batches.
Have transparent PNG files already? Open LINE mode directly in AmpCub’s shared image processor. No new editor or upload is needed.
Why does my sticker still have wide transparent borders?
A PNG can contain a tiny character surrounded by a very large transparent canvas. Simply resizing that whole canvas leaves the character small. LINE sticker trimming should first find the visible artwork, then scale it proportionally and fit the final canvas around it.
For example, a square design can export at 320×320 rather than being placed in a fixed 370×320 canvas. The artwork stays square and about 10 px of safe margin remains around it. Actual output size depends on the artwork.
The option “Trim excess transparent edges and fit canvas to artwork” is on by default. Switch it off to preserve the older fixed 370×320 canvas. This only trims transparency: opaque white backgrounds are not automatically removed, and visible artwork is not deliberately cropped.
Official LINE static sticker image sizes
The following summarizes LINE Creators Market's static sticker image requirements. These are not animated sticker specifications.
| Image type | Dimensions | Quantity |
|---|---|---|
| Sticker images | Up to 370×320 px (even dimensions) | 8 / 16 / 24 / 32 / 40 |
| Main image | 240×240 px | 1 |
| Chat tab thumbnail | 96×74 px | 1 |
All images must be transparent PNG files, up to 1 MB each. LINE advises about 10 px of space around the visible design. An even width and height matter because LINE may resize stickers.

How to crop and batch resize LINE stickers
- Open the LINE preset, then select your transparent PNG images (up to 40 at a time).
- Choose Sticker (max 370×320), Main image (240×240), or Chat tab (96×74).
- Keep “Trim excess transparent edges and fit canvas to artwork” checked to shrink transparent margins while maintaining proportions.
- Start processing, inspect each preview and its new dimensions, and download individual PNG files or a ZIP.
For a complete set, prepare 8, 16, 24, 32 or 40 sticker images, plus one main image and one chat tab icon separately. The tool alerts you if your set count is incomplete.
Transparent trimming vs. manual image cropping
Transparent margin trimming removes empty space around the design without intentionally cutting the character. Manual cropping changes the image framing and may cut off visible content. If you need to move a crop box, rotate, or choose a custom area, use the separate image crop tool.

The tool does not remove solid backgrounds, cannot turn animated stickers into static stickers, and cannot guarantee LINE review approval. Extremely faint edge pixels may be treated as transparent when trimming; inspect the preview carefully.
Frequently asked questions
Does a LINE sticker have to be exactly 370×320?
No. 370×320 is the maximum size for a regular static sticker. Smaller, even-numbered dimensions are allowed, so a square sticker can use 320×320.
Does trimming transparent edges remove a white background?
No. It only trims existing transparent pixels. Opaque white or colored backgrounds remain and must be removed before processing.
Can I batch process 40 LINE stickers?
Yes. LINE mode accepts up to 40 images, can export numbered PNGs and a ZIP, and checks the usual 8/16/24/32/40 sticker set counts.
Are my sticker files uploaded?
Image processing runs in your browser. This guide links to the batch tool, which processes images locally without uploads.
