Per-entry formula breakdown
This page estimates statutory additions for a standard scenario; it is not a payroll statement or legal determination. Shift work, flexible working hours, adjusted holidays, compensatory leave, collective agreements, disaster / emergency procedures, company rounding, and other special arrangements can change the actual result. Confirm disputes with your employer, local labor authority, or professional adviser.
Formula and scope
- Monthly mode uses regular hourly wage = monthly salary ÷ 240, matching the standard monthly-paid assumption used by the Ministry of Labor calculator.
- Weekday and rest-day tiers are calculated separately for each workday; do not combine several days into one row.
- Holiday attendance under 8 hours adds one full day of wages under the Ministry of Labor interpretation; hours over 8 then use the statutory overtime tiers.
- Regular-day-off attendance is modeled only for disaster, accident or emergency circumstances; a compensatory day off is also required under the statutory exception.
