YEAR VIEW

12 months of salary + this payout

Earlier bonuses entered only for the NHI threshold are intentionally excluded here to avoid double-counting unknown prior deductions.

Gross cash income—
Estimated cash received—
Estimated payroll deductions—

This is a payroll cash-flow estimate, not an official payslip or tax return. Monthly 5% withholding and non-monthly bonus withholding follow different thresholds. Bonus withholding is still only a prepayment of annual income tax. Actual payroll can differ because of insurance effective dates, subsidies, bonus classification, employer policy and final annual tax settlement.

Calculation rules and assumptions
  • 2026 labor ordinary insurance rate is 11.5% and employment insurance is 1%; a standard employee pays 20% of each, rounded separately to whole TWD.
  • Labor insurance uses the 2026 grade table and caps this regular-employee estimate at NT$45,800.
  • NHI employee premium = insured payroll amount × 5.17% × 30%, rounded per insured unit, multiplied by the employee plus up to three dependents.
  • Voluntary labor-pension contribution is based on the official monthly contribution grade, up to 6%; the employer's required minimum 6% is shown separately and is not deducted from take-home pay.
  • For a Taiwan resident, non-monthly salary such as a bonus is estimated at 5% withholding when a single payout reaches NT$90,501; a smaller payout is estimated as exempt from withholding.
  • An incentive bonus not included in NHI insured payroll is subject to 2.11% supplementary NHI on the portion of annual cumulative bonus exceeding four times the current insured payroll, limited by the current payout.
