How the calculation works

For 4.3 or 4.0 mode, each course's grade points are multiplied by its credits, summed, then divided by the credits included in the calculation. Percentage mode applies the same credit weighting directly to 0–100 scores.

Common 4.3 mapping used here: A+ 4.3, A 4.0, A− 3.7, B+ 3.3, B 3.0, B− 2.7, C+ 2.3, C 2.0, C− 1.7, D 1.0, F 0. The 4.0 mode caps A+ and A at 4.0.
