How the calculation works
Needed average = (target GPA × total credits − current GPA × earned credits) ÷ remaining credits. Total credits are earned credits plus remaining credits. If that average is above the scale maximum, or remaining credits are 0 while the current GPA is still short, the target cannot be reached. A result at or below 0 means the target is already met.
The next-term what-if is (current GPA × earned credits + term GPA × term credits) ÷ (earned credits + term credits). Nothing is uploaded or stored.
